Description about the Exam :

Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) is an integrated oil company, under the ownership of Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas. IOCL had invited applications from eligible candidates for Trade Apprentice - Accountant. 25 candidates will be selected for this post. The period of Apprenticeship training is 12 months.

Eligibility Requirements :

Age Limit:Minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 24 years for general and EWS candidates. Relaxation of age is applicable for SC/ST/OBC candidates, as per government guidelines.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should be aGraduate in any discipline. They should have done regular full time course from a recognized Institute/University. A minimum of 50% marks in aggregate for General, EWS & OBC candidates and 45% in case of SC/ST/PwBD candidates for reserved positions is mandatory.

Selection Procedure :

A written test will be conducted for recruiting the candidates. Selection of suitable candidates will be based on the performance of the candidates in the test. The test will comprise of 100MCQ questions. The duration of the test is 90 minutes. The questions will be framed both in English and Hindi. 30 questions,each from Generic Aptitude including Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Abilities and 40 questions from Basic English language skills will be asked to assess the proficiency of the candidates. A minimum of 40% marks in the test is essential to qualify for the selection process. 5% marks is relaxable for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBD.
