General English is included in many competitive exams to analyze the candidates’ knowledge of English Grammar, vocabulary and to test their verbal skills. The questions are framed from English literature and are purely based on Tamil Nadu Samacheer Kalvi syllabus. The syllabus for general English comprises of English Grammar, Prose and Poetry.
