Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has announced Xth edition of personnel selection for Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) in the `Office Assistants (Multipurpose)’ and `Officer Scale-I’ cadres. The total number of vacancies for ‘Office Assistants’ and for `Officers’ are 5305 and 4119 respectively. The minimum qualification for these posts is any degree. For Office Assistants, the age limit is between 18 and 28 years and for `Officers’, the age limit is between 18 and 30 years. Age relaxation is allowed for certain categories.
The exam. is conducted in two stages - Preliminary and Main. For preliminary exam. the subjects are Reasoning and Numerical Ability only for both the posts. Only the standard of questions differs a little. Each section will contain 40 questions for 40 marks (Total questions - 80). Total time allowed to answer both sections is 45 minutes. The medium of examination is English and respective state regional language also.
The main exam. will have 4 papers - Reasoning, Computer Knowledge, General Awareness, English or Hindi language and Numerical Ability.
For `Office Assistants’ there is no interview. Interview will be conducted for `Officer Cadre’ Posts.
