Candidates if you are looking for your dream SecretariatAssistant jobs in Kerala, then it’s time to gear up your preparation. Kerala Public Service Commission (PSC)has invited applications from eligible candidates for PSC Secretariat Assistant post. Candidates who possess a Degree in any faculty from a recognized university or its equivalent are eligible for this post. They should be between 18 to 36 years to be eligible. Relaxation of age is applicable as per government rules. The scale of pay for this post is Rs 27800 – 59400/-
Selection of candidates for this post is revised and will be done in three tiers: Preliminary examination,Mains examination and Personal interview.
Preliminary exam is conducted to assess the candidate’s Language Proficiency and their knowledge in General Studies. It is a degree level examination. Duration of the exam is 75 minutes. 100 objective type questions will be asked in the preliminary exam from Quantitative Aptitude, Mental Ability and Test of Reasoning, General Science, Current Affairs, Facts about India, Renaissance of India, Constitution of India and Civil Rights, General English, Social Welfare Schemes and Measures and Information Technology and Cyber Laws. Preliminary examination is conducted as a screening test. Candidates who clear the preliminary exam with good score will be eligible for the Mains exam.
Mains exam may be of OMR type or of Descriptive type. The syllabus and the pattern of the Mains exam are yet to be declared. Based on the score in the mains exam, candidates who are merit listed will be selected and will be called for the personal interview. Candidates who get selected in the personal interview will be called for Document Verification.
